School Holidays July with RYT is made up of Dragons, Crafts, messy fun and theatre. With 5 events over the Riverland Regions and some fantastic guest artists in attendance RYT always try to bring something unique to you.

Dragon Theatre

Saturday 9th July @ Renmark Institute, 1pm – 5.30pm

RYT is hosting a Dungeon and Dragons afternoon gaming session. There will be both leaner and experienced friendly games being run by some amazing game masters.

Music and Movement

Monday 11th and Monday 18th July @ Renmark Institute, 9am

Friday 15th @ Waikerie Lutheran Primary School, 9.30am

Start the week right with a morning of song, dance, ribbons, parachutes, teddies and stories! Sing and dance with your child and then settle down for a fruit snack and a story.

Making Pride

11th, 12th and 13th @ Renmark Institute, 10pm – 4pm

Ages – 10-26yrs

Join us to create costumes, banners, badges, jewellery, and tiny floats for Riverland Pride March. Play with identity, colour and joy with guest artists Calamity Tash, Meg Wilson, and Jess Weidenhofer. LGBTIQ+ folks and allies all welcome.

YES and Yes and YES

14th and 15th July @ Waikerie Lutheran Primary School Gymnasium

A two days of acting workshops full of improvisation, bravery, making offers and responding on your feet to the actors around you. Taught by RYT guest artist, Adelaide actor and theatre maker Tim Overton.

Three Day Play

15th, 16th and 17th July @ Renmark 10am – 4pm

Let’s attempt the impossible: let’s make a play from nothing in 3 days! We’ll create the script, design, rehearse & then perform it. We’ll work fast, laugh lots, & have something special to show for it at the end!

Messy Play

22nd @ AC Care

24th @ Renmark Institute

Mud Pies, slime search, potions, and play! RYT and AC Care invite you to get messy with us. Wear old, loved clothes that you’re happy to get messy and we’ll provide the rest!
